Since its inception, JS&P has been sponsored by Fight Master David Woolley, SAFD. The winner receives the Margaret W. Martin Award: the play undergoes development via BWBTC’s <a href="http://babeswithblades.org/fighting-words/">Fighting Words</a> program prior to premiering as part of an upcoming BWBTC season, and the playwright receives a $1,000 cash prize.
