To date, THE FESTIVAL has received over 8,000 submissions from across the world. THE FESTIVAL has produced 120 world premieres by 84 different playwrights. THE FESTIVAL presents between five and seven plays each season.</p> <p class="left">Please submit a cover letter, a synopsis, and a resume along with one copy of the play. Cover-sheet of play should have title, author, author’s address, author’s telephone number, and author’s e-mail. Plays should be neatly bound or stapled on the left-hand corner. (No loose pages and no binders, please.) Any stage play format is acceptable. We do not accept electronic submissions at this time. Please do not call or stop by the theatre.</p> <p class="left">If playwrights wish to have their works returned, an appropriate SASE must also be included.</p> <p class="left">Selected plays will be presented for nine performances in April 2020 at the Ronald F. Peierls Theatre, on Theatre Three’s Second Stage.</p> <p class="left">Playwrights will receive a $125 stipend.</p> <p class="left">Playwrights are welcome to attend any rehearsals or performances. Playwrights will receive a standard Dramatists Guild-approved contract. Playwrights will receive four complimentary tickets to be used at any performances. Playwrights will receive copies of playbills, flyers, articles, and reviews as well as a link to all publicity and production photos. THEATRE THREE is responsible for all elements of production; playwrights incur no expenses.
