CREDITS: Matthew is a dedicated commercial theatre producer and entrepreneur based in New York City. He currently serves as an Associate Producer with Cody Lassen & Associates and works as an executive assistant & producing partner to Tony Award-winning and Emmy-nominated actor, writer, and director BD Wong. He is thrilled to be on the co-producing teams for two Broadway productions this season. The Notebook, based on the best-selling novel and iconic film, has opened at the Schoenfeld Theatre, with music by Ingrid Michaelson and direction by Michael Grief & Schele Williams, under the guidance of Kevin McCollum & Kurt Deutsch. The Wiz, led by Brian Moreland and ATG, will make its return to Broadway on March 29, 2024, with an all-new adaptation directed by Schele Williams. Matthew’s collaboration with Tony Award-winning and Grammy Award-nominated Broadway producer Cody Lassen spans multiple years and productions. He has held several positions in various shows such as associate producer, executive producer, general manager, and co-producer. Past productions include Paula Vogel’s How I Learned to Drive, Alex Wyse’s Picking Up Speed, The 12, Hyprov: Improv Under Hypnosis, Invincible, A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet, as well as films like Summoning Sylvia and How to Get Clicks. He is also involved in several shows currently in development. Prior to his role at Cody Lassen & Associates, Matthew contributed to The Broadway Exchange, where he collaborated with creative executives to lead production management with external partners. His clients included Here Lies Love, Bad Cinderella, Girl From The North Country, 2:22 A Ghost Story, London’s Bonnie & Clyde, and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Business from Chapman University.
