Seeing the Light- A New 15 Minute Musical

“Seeing the Light” is a 15-minute musical about a 19th-century astronomer who observes that a comet is about to land on a small town and destroy it. The townsfolk mock the astronomer because she’s a woman and can’t possibly know what she’s talking about.
This musical was presented live at the Broadwater Theater in Hollywood in June 2022 as part of the curriculum at New Musicals Inc.
Book and lyrics by Ahou Yasmine, with music by Kiarah Davis. Directed by Elise Dewsberry, with music direction by Ron Barnett, and stage management by Kim Iosue. Featuring Tatiana Gomez, Amir Levi, Emily Elizabeth Jones, and Harry White.
