EXCERPT:

Say, gentle reader, did you ever have a 200-pound woman breathing a flavour of Camembert cheese and Peau d’Espagne pick you up and wallop her nose all over you, remarking all the time in an Emma Eames tone of voice: “Oh, oo’s um oodlum, doodlum, woodlum, toodlum, bitsy-witsy skoodlums?”

COMMENTS:

Told in the first person by a dog, who doesn’t really care for all the coddling which comes with being a pedigreed pooch. The prose is sparkling and dazzling; laugh-out-loud funny. There’s not really a plot (other than some implied owners)…but perhaps this would make for a rollicking one-person short piece.
